The Foundation envisions the Library as a cornerstone of our community’s high quality of life.
 

 

The Bozeman Library Foundation Board

The Bozeman Library Foundation is led by an all-volunteer Board of Directors who strategically guide the Foundation's mission of financially and programmatically supporting the Bozeman Public Library. The Board meets nine times a year, typically on the last Thursday of the month from 1:30-3:00pm, excluding December. One meeting is scheduled for the summer months.

SharlaRae Stuber - President
 

SharlaRae is an Vice President/Real Estate Manager at Big Sky Western Bank, an MSU-Northern graduate, and State Trapshooting Handicap Champion.

Vikki Leuschen - Treasurer
 

Vikki Leuschen was an international tax manager with Price Waterhouse in Palo Alto, California. She has her MS in Taxation, has her own accounting firm, is a native Montanan, and has three daughters.

Susan Quarles - Secretary
 

Susan received her JD from the New York Law School and practiced family law in New York prior to moving to Bozeman. Currently, she’s an Adjunct Instructor teaching Law for Montana State University’s College of Business. Susan has been through mediation training and has two children.

Dr. Loren Acton
 

Loren is a Research Professor in the Department of Physics at Montana State University and oversees the solar physics group, which carries on an active research program under NASA support. Dr. Acton is also active in civic groups, has run for political office, and, according to his Wikipedia page, he has traveled over 2.8 million miles in 126 Earth orbits, logging over 190 hours in space. Acton was born in Lewistown, MT, and is married with two grown children.

Diana Blank
 

Diana moved to Bozeman from Atlanta and has been involved with many non-profit boards including Literacy Volunteers for America, Atlanta; and National Parks Conservation Assoc., Washington, DC. She taught Great Books to elementary school children and sponsored the I Have a Dream Program in Atlanta. In her spare time enjoys Bozeman’s outdoor activities: hiking, gardening, cross-country skiing, and just became a CAP mentor.

Gary Bishop
 

Gary serves as an Adjunct Professor in Management, College of Business at Montana State University after many years of experience in the private sector and a 23+ year career with the united States Army, serving as an Enlisted Solider, Non-Commissioned Officer, Warrant Officer, and Commissioned Officer. He was honorably retired from active duty 1986.

Daryl Henning
 

 

Daryl is native Bozeman, earned an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management and a Master of Divinity from Chicago Theological Seminary, and spent two decades working in senior management in the Chicago area for IBM and other companies. She has served on a variety of non-profit boards in the area.

 

Alan Kesselheim
 

Alan has worked as a full-time freelance writer ever since he moved to Bozeman in 1982. He is the author of nine books and hundreds of magazine articles. He has served on library boards in Bozeman for more than fifteen years. He lives with his wife and three children two blocks from the library.

Denise Malloy
 

Denise is a former attorney, Peace Corps volunteer, and public school special education teacher, is currently a freelance writer for national, regional, and local magazines and newspapers. She lives in Bozeman with her husband and two teenage boys.

 

Michael J. McCormick
 

Michael is a Wealth Advisr with Cascade Financial Management in Bozeman. Prior to entering the financial services industry, he worked in the energy, technology and development sectors. A native Californian, he graduated from Yale and with a master's from Colorade School of Mines; he now lives in Bozeman with his wife and two daughters.

Dr. Robert Watson
 

Rob is the principal of Bozeman High School, assuming that role in 2009. He received his Bachelor's degree at MSU, a Master's at Univ. of Alaska and his doctorate at UM. He lives in Bozeman with his wife and two young daughters.

Leslie McCleary
 

Leslie also serves as a board member for Montana Center International Visitors and is a member of Bozeman Sunrise Rotary where she is active on the International Committee. McCleary grew up in Bolivia and worked in several national and international retails companies, before settling in Bozeman three years ago. She earned a double major in psychology and Spanish and a minor in education from Florida Southern.

Debra Redburn
 

Debra finished her husband Mike Redburn's 2011 board term before beginning her own 3-year term in 2012. She is the Communication Specialist for the College of Education, Health & Human Development at MSU.

Christopher Meyer
 

A graduate of Harvard College and the University of Colorado School of Law,
Christopher is the principal of the CD MEYER LAW FIRM, a civil trial
